Illustration Program
If you are an illustrator you discovered at an early age that expressing yourself through art is just part of who you are. Choosing a college that will capitalize on your talents and teach you to express visually ideas and concepts is essential to laying the groundwork to achieve your goals.
The Art Center's Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration begins with foundation courses in illustration, graphics, computers and web design, then expands to advanced courses in your major. You'll learn to present professional concepts by exploring a variety of media and hands-on techniques. In preparation for your career, you will develop a marketable portfolio demonstrating your abilities. A focus on "real-world" applications provides the training necessary to become a professional illustrator and obtain, at a minimum, entry-level employment as a product and licensing illustrator, advertising or publishing illustrator, or a computer illustrator.
